Atomic dance

Year 8 middle school students from Canterbury School have taken the learning of Chemistry to a new level. They attend an atomic dance, learn to sing a song about the Periodic Table and begin memorising the symbols of the main elements.

The fundamental particle of matter is the atom. Throughout history various models of the atom have been proposed: The Billiard Ball model, The Plum Pudding model, The Nuclear model, The Shell model and the Quantum model.
